Care, Guidance and Support

‘Care, guidance and support are outstanding. Students whose circumstances make them vulnerable are extremely well supported. The school ethos provides a happy and secure environment where students feel extremely safe.'

Ofsted 2011

We believe that taking care of our students and keeping a careful watch on their progress go hand in hand. Here at Malbank the Key Stage Teams are the first port of call for pupils and parents seeking advice, care and guidance.

The Access Team, responsible for overseeing the well being and safety of all pupils comprises the Assistant Head (Inclusion), Key Stage Leaders and their teams, the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO), the Inclusion Resource (IRC) Manager and the Inclusion Mentor.

To further support our work we call regularly upon the expertise of the School Nurse, Family Support Worker, Police Liaison Officer and LA Careers Advisor.
