In Support of Learning
As a student of Malbank School you are expected to

  • Arrive to all lessons on time
  • Arrive to all lessons with the correct equipment
  • Stop talking immediately when a member of staff requires your attention.
  • Follow instructions without argument
  • Stay on task
  • Respect the opinions, beliefs and the contributions of others
  • Stay in your allocated place unless instructed otherwise

As a student of Malbank School you must not

  • Distract others And prevent their learning
  • Challenge the teacher's authority by answering back or by being rude.
  • Bring personal music equipment to school
  • Shout out in lessons
  • Have your mobile phones switched on in lessons

In order to support a safe and secure learning environment

As a student of Malbank School you are expected to

  • Respect others and their property
  • Move around the school in a quiet and orderly manner. Keeping to the left in corridors and stairways
  • Take pride in personal appearance and follow the school dress code
  • Wait outside classrooms until instructed to enter by a member of staff
  • Leave classrooms tidy and in an orderly manner when dismissed by a member of staff.
  • Look after your personal possessions at all time
  • Place bags and coats in either the lockers provided or in form rooms by 12.30
  • Stay on site unless you have obtained an 'out of school pass'

As a member of Malbank School you must not

  • Physically or verbally abuse another member of the school community
  • Swear and use foul language
  • Bring to school gum, cigarettes or alcohol
  • Interfere with other people's property
  • Spit
  • Drop litter
  • Eat or drink in corridors and classrooms
  • Deface school property
  • Play ball games outside the designated areas
