They can pick up an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) by investigating a topic of their choice, gain work experience, try a new language such as Mandarin, support our environmental awareness day and take part in our fancy dress fund-raiser for Barnardos. At Malbank specialist advice is available for students with every step of their Post 16 journey, from how to be an independent learner, to revision skills for AS level examinations, to completing their UCAS forms, practise for mock interviews, through to student finance and university cooking skills.
A specialist 6th form block is available for the exclusive use of our Post 16 students, incorporating two ICT suites for personal study, a cosmopolitan café bar, a large common room where students can relax in their free periods and a dedicated UCAS room for researching future destinations.
