Barnardo's Day

Malbank Sixth Form has been closely associated with Barnardos children's charity for five years. As our chosen charity, the sixth form students work towards adding to our money total each year.

We have raised over
£3000

Money is raised in two ways. Firstly, the students take Barnardos collecting tins in November and raise cash with friends, family and in their places of weekend or evening work. Then, in February the annual Barnardos fancy dress day is held. Staff and students come in costumes following a theme chosen by the sixth-formers. Recent themes have included Pirates, Rich & Famous, Superheroes and Hogwarts.

BARNARDO'S

Barnardo's helps the most vulnerable children and young people transform their lives and fulfil their potential.

Their work focuses on the vital components that make up a happy, healthy childhood or 'building blocks'. Barnardo's believes that all children and young people have a fundamental right to these to build a positive future. www.barnardos.org.uk
