In Malbank’s Music department we will develop musicians who are confident and enthusiastic to express themselves through performance, composition and analysis/interpretation of music. We will give opportunities to create music in different ways so students can appreciate other cultures while developing their confidence, teamwork, discipline and perseverance, as well as developing an engaging, fulfilling and sociable leisure activity. We will enable students to become creative and independent thinkers, developing skills that are essential for higher education and a wide range of careers.
