Luca Rodgers Year 8 was invited to train with Atlético DE  Madrid academy and made the trip to Spain on New Years Eve to train for the next 8 days staying at their residence. He has been invited again between March and May this year to continue his development and has been set targets to achieve in order to continue the journey. Education is the clubs main focus followed by football. He was recommended via a UK based Spanish Football coach because he has a good attitude to his coaches and teammates, plus works hard on the football pitch and on his fitness. His ultimate goal is to attend boarding school at Atletico but he has lots of hurdles to get over first. We wish him all the best on his journey. Well done Luca
