During February's Inset day, Lorelei spent the day personally delivering book bundles to 14 local primary schools, with each school receiving around 10 books. She was very proud to hand these over herself and to hear directly from schools how helpful donations like these are, particularly given current funding pressures.

In addition, she also donated four baby books to Baby Club Cheshire, supporting early reading for younger children.

 Lorelei’s enthusiasm for reading, her independence, and her desire to contribute positively to the wider community is something we hope she is very proud of. It has been a wonderful learning experience for her, and one she has taken great responsibility for. Well done Lorelei. 

Charlie did amazingly well, winning an incredible 8x Gold medals, setting some new personal best times and deservedly awarded as 14-year-old boy swimmer of the year for Nantwich Seals.

Young Nantwich fighter, 15, wins Muay Thai British title

Abi is part of Fagins Gang in Oliver at the Lyceum Theatre in Crewe this week and has been in reherasals for the last 7 months.

We hope the shows go well and you have the best time on stage. Well done Abi

Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award.

Daniel has worked as a volunteer lifesaving Coach for over 6 months, teaching life saving skills such as water rescues and CPR to younger children. He has also completed a physical activity, swimming for over a year with Crewe Flyers in their Diamond (top) squad and has completed a skills activity by continuing to learn the guitar. Silver DofE requires completion of an Expedition, so Daniel completed a 3 day practise hike and outdoor camp and finally a 3 day self guided expedition hike through the Lake District while camping overnight.  

Life-saving Instructor.

Daniel has been lifesaving for a few years, firstly completing all of the Royal Lifesaving Society UK qualifications then working as a trainee coach. He has recently qulaified as a Lifesaving Instructor and is therefore teaching Rookie Lifeguarding to other children, who are starting their lifesaving skills training.

Scouts Platinum award. 

Daniel has been awarded the Scouts Platinum award which requires 6 months membership of Explorer Scouts, 8 nights away from home including 4 campling, leading 2 international sessions for which Daniel presented activities about Italy and Germany, he took part in a community project to maintain the Joey the Swan area of Wistaston with the Wistaston Conservation Society and he previously completed the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award which is a prequisite.

On Friday Alfie-jack raced at our local club that myself and his dad run and he had the best nights racing he's ever had! He qualified on pole position and came 1st in his final! Well done Alfie-Jack

Lorelei loves reading and storytelling and has set up a reading club called Once Upon a Page, aimed at primary school children, that is due to start on the 8th November at Berries in Wrenbury. Here she will be reading stories and also reading her own work she has created for the club. She is also busy raising money in order to buy books for the local primary schools in the area. 

Well done Lorelei – this is an amazing achievement, and we look forward to reading your work.

Leo has been playing golf competition since the age of 8, he has already won many competitions in his age category on Both the Robert Rock Junior Golf tour as well as the Ping Junior golf tour. He has also won many competitions at his home golf club of Crewe.

He competes across the UK and this year has competed as far as Edinburgh in Scotland all the way down to Southampton. Many of the course are famous/prestigious ones in the UK

This year has been a fantastic year along with finishing 2nd and 3rd In many competitions he WON the Ping Major links competition at Siloth in Solway, where he won the best Nett and Gross prize for the under 12s. He also qualified for the Ping Junior Grand final where he WON the grand final at European Ping headquarters at Thonock Park in Gainsbourg.

These wins mean he has now qualified for the World Championships in 2026 which are help in Ireland. Well done Leo

This summer she has taken part in the Canal & River Trust National Junior Canal League and finished second individually in the league, out of 139 children across the UK. 

Her Team also finished top of the team league, not just in their home region of the North West, but also in the Staffordshire region. Well done Florence

We are super proud of him - well done Toby

During the school holidays George and his dad went on an adventure to dream lakes which is in the champagne region of France. 

Between them they caught a whopping 31 fish !

George made it in to the red book , this is for those who catch carp over the weight of 50lbs.

George caught one of the biggest fish that week at a mighty weight of 61.11lb !!!

Needless to say everyone was super proud.

He poured sweat blood and tears reeling in this huge fish ,after 1 hr ,stood in the lake with his dad's help to hold the fish up ,have some photos and had to endure a bucket of water thrown over him whilst doing this. (It's tradition when you catch your personal best weight).;)

What a fantastic experience to cycle through the Queensway tunnel. It was a very challenging ride, undulating roads and less than perfect weather. We are so proud of his achievement, doing his longest ride to date. Well done Josh.
