Students were able to walk or run a mile around the school sports field and earn points for their House teams. The atmosphere was brilliant with students cheering each other along. Well done to all who took part in this House Event.

Well done to everyone involved. Tonight it is the U16 Girls Football and Year 7 Boys Football team at home vs Ruskin. If anyone is able to come and support please come over to the field. Also we have Year 8 and Year 10 Netball matches on the courts vs Ruskin.
Our Year 11 boys lost their first game of the season (friendly) vs SJT from Whitchurch in a very tight game. We went 1-0 up through an excellent finish from Connor. Half time 1-0 Malbank. Second half was a completely different game. We lost Tom to an injury so he replaced at half time by Sydney. 20 minutes later Sydney got the wrong side of the winger and took him down - penalty to SJT. They converted 1-1. With seconds to go the ball fell nicely to their striker and he converted to make it 2-1. This was extremely harsh on our lads were excellent throughout. Anyway, just a friendly so we move on and look forward to playing Ruskin on the 30th September. Also please Year 9’s Josh and Dom who stayed until 5.15pm to officiate as linesmen in the game. They were brilliant deserve a special mention or reward.
Anyone interested in joining the team please speak to Mr Smithson.
