Please find information below for a 6-week Autism parent training.

ChAPS has been commissioned to offer autism parent training programmes in Northwich, Winsford, Crewe, Middlewich, Chester and Ellesmere Port on behalf of the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (ICB).

The 6-week training course is aimed at parents whose children are on the pathway to diagnosis, or who have a child that has recently received an autism diagnosis. On completion of the 6-week course, parents are also able to attend any number of 6 specialist courses on subjects such as PDA, sensory processing and masking – further information and the opportunity to book on these courses will be given on completion of the 6-week course.

We are running them in Ellesmere Port, Face to Face starting 20^th February at Theatre Porto. (The first one is in the school holidays therefore I believe it will be virtual.)

This should be from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Winsford- Thursday Evening; 7-9pm; Virtually- starting 22^nd February.

Crewe- Tuesday Daytime; 10.30am-12.30pm- venue Autism Inclusive, starting 16^th April.

Chester- Wednesday Evening; 6.30-8.30pm; venue St Mary’s Handbridge, starting 17^th April.
