Janine Edwards was born in Dorset and moved to Northwich whilst she was in Primary School.  She attended Hartford High School and then studied for her A-Levels at Sir John Deane’s College.  Janine completed her degree in Biological Sciences at The University of Sheffield, her PGCE at Manchester Metropolitan University and completed her National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) whilst at Malbank through Edgehill University. Janine successfully applied for her first teaching role at Malbank School as a Teacher of Science in 1998.  As our Deputy Headteacher, Janine is responsible for Curriculum and ensuring that our staff are trained as experts in their field (CPD). Janine is passionate about supporting all Malbank students to be the best that they can be and much to her delight (and sometimes dismay!) is now seeing children of her past pupils thriving at our school. Janine is in charge of school educational visits.
